This afternoon’s subject is Conditional Formatting (CF), brought to you by a long-term practitioner of Unconditional Formatting (UF). I’d never CF anything. Now I see it was due to ignorance and laziness. Most things I don’t do are due to these two things. Back then, however, I made excuses. A number purist, which I must be, lets the numbers speak for themselves. I was noble, too. I would not bias the viewers of my tables with cell and font colors, shading, and icons. Right? Wrong.
